综合大楼由刘荣广、伍振民建筑事务所(香港)有限公司中国电子工程设计院设计，并获选为20世纪90年代北京十大建筑之一，其建筑风格融汇了现代建筑艺术及中国古都神韵。建筑形象设计考虑本工程所处的特殊位置，建筑布局上追求古朴、凝重的传统气质，并将中国古典建筑中的构架、斗拱等符号进行拓扑变形，尤其是屋顶的倒梯形设计，表现了传统意义中的重拱概念。主体以简洁、明快的横线条为主，配以不同材料，用统一的手法、不同的尺度和比例处理来表现不同单体的建筑性格。整个建筑群大气、典雅，时代气质中又透出传统建筑的神韵。

The complex, designed by Liu Rongguang and Wu Zhenmin Architects (Hong Kong) Co., LTD., was selected as one of the top 10 buildings in Beijing in the 1990s. Its architectural style combines modern architectural art and the charm of China's ancient capital. Considering the special position of this project, the architectural image design pursues the traditional temperament of primitive simplicity and dignified in the architectural layout, and carries on the topological deformation of the structure, dougong and other symbols in the Chinese classical architecture, especially the inverted trapezoid design of the roof, which shows the concept of heavy arch in the traditional sense.
